Physician Development Coach

About Majdah

A Nephrology & Internist Physician, I have a passion for maximizing the potential of kidney failure patients so they can enjoy good quality of life, live independently, and feel full of hope.

A compassionate physician leader, I believe that each member of my team is resourceful, knowledgeable, capable, and creative.

My interest in coaching began during my six years serving as Medical Director in a Dialysis Center, managing 192 patients and 60 employees for DIAVERUM renal services. Leadership training was part of the company’s staff development program and that is where I had my first exposure to coaching as an integral part of leadership.

It was clear to me that I could apply my coaching skills with both my patients and team members to improve outcomes.

My foundational coach training and certification was through InviteChange, one of the most well respected coach training organizations in the USA. In June 2020 I earned the prestigious recognition of Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation.

After I earned my first coaching credential, I had a vision about serving physicians, nurses and the healthcare team, but was unsure how I could do that and also continue my work as clinician and leader.

Through my specialized training with the Physician Coaching Institute (PCI, USA), I learned to craft coaching programs for clinicians that were customized for my organization, my region, and the clinicians I want to support. The common Coaching areas that yield great outcome are Relationships with colleagues, Work life integration, Career satisfaction, and leadership effectiveness. In April 2021, I earned PCI’s prestigious recognition of Master Certified Physician Development Coach.

I feel gratified I can serve my community in multiple ways: as Consultant Nephrology, as leader, and as Master Certified Physician Development Coach.

My coaching philosophy is: “I support my clients to make (inside-out) choices, guided by their core values.”
